IP Maestro is a network automation platform that simplifies your network management. Tailored for seamless OcNOS deployments on supported whitebox hardware, it serves both service provider and data center networks. The web-based interface enables easy control of switches and routers with a point-and-click option. Device Management with the power of Zero Touch Provisioning (ZTP) facilitates both in-band and out-of-band based device setup, ensuring security through the implementation of role-based access controls.
IP Maestro provides intuitive device monitoring with advanced visualization on Fault, Configuration, Accounting, Performance, and Security (FCAPS). Its data model-driven framework seamlessly integrates with open APIs, ensuring flexibility and efficiency in network management.

IP Maestro offers several compelling features:
• Topology: Discover the network topology effortlessly with a visual map, enabling an intuitive understanding of network elements' connectivity. The Topology toolbar ensures easy manipulation and provides graphical status of devices, links, and services.
• Inventory: Gain a holistic view of physical and logical network resources, services, and topologies. Real-time network inventory coupled with filter functionality allows users to navigate and select specific inventory types with ease.
• Fault Management: Capture and display alarms from network devices, links, and services. IP Maestro's Fault Management module efficiently processes NETCONF alarms and integrates with Syslog for centralized management and alerts. IP Maestro can be configured to send out email notifications to users when critical alarms occur.
• Performance Monitoring: Monitor network performance effortlessly with complex or calculated metrics, such as, Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) or Key Quality Indicators (KQIs). Define measurement points, groups, collection intervals, and aggregation intervals for precise and periodic data analysis.
• Configuration Management: Manage device configurations with IP Maestro seamlessly. Perform tasks such as downloading software images, creating and deleting configuration files, syncing configurations with the database, and executing configurations on specific devices. Take device configuration backups followed by a config diff to see the difference between two configurations.
• Audit and Logs: Ensure transparency and accountability through historical logs, including syslog records and command history logs. IP Maestro maintains a detailed account of device activities for comprehensive auditing and implements a role-based user management system with comprehensive auditing logs for accountability.
• User Management: Support Role Based Access Control (RBAC) using Lightweight Directory Access Protocol (LDAP) Authentication.
• Northbound Interface (NBI) Integration using REST APIs - Derive benefit from NBI integration that provides a variety of interfaces and protocols to monitor and configure the network. The REST APIs communicate with the centralized controller for convenient management of OcNOS devices. This is a new feature introduced in IP Maestro Version 3.0.
• Bulk Configuration Push - Apply configurations on multiple devices using either JSON configuration push or CLI text-based configuration push. Perform operations such as merging, replacing, or deleting configurations using the JSON editor. This is a new feature introduced in IP Maestro Version 3.0.
• Tech Support Files Generation - Generate and download tech-support files for selected OcNOS devices with an option to filter the desired modules. Easily access an archive containing diagnostic information for different protocol modules, hardware tables, running-configuration, Syslog messages, and more. This is a new feature introduced in IP Maestro Version 3.0.
• License Enforcement - Obtain IP Maestro license by stipulating the IP address of a local license server for enhanced security and flexibility. Furthermore, specify the number of devices that can be managed by this instance of IP Maestro. This is a new feature introduced in IP Maestro Version 3.0.
• Language Localization - Benefit from localization with the ability to choose your preferred language at the login screen. In this release, IP Maestro offers a unique user experience either in English or in Japanese. This is a new feature introduced in IP Maestro Version 3.0.
• Streaming Telemetry Support - Monitor network health efficiently with real-time data from devices using the fundamentals of Streaming Telemetry. This is a new feature introduced in IP Maestro Version 3.0. Streaming Telemetry Wildcard support is dependent on OcNOS Version 6.6.0 for feature availability.
Supported OcNOS Version
IP Maestro Release 3.0 software is designed to monitor devices running OcNOS-6.3.4-70 and above.
Note: IP Maestro software has been validated and is capable of successfully managing up to 250 OcNOS devices.
Product Release Version
IP Maestro maintains a two-digit release version number. An integer indicates Major and Maintenance release versions. Build numbers are for internal tracking and verification of the software build process and are visible to customers as part of the software version number.
Product Name: IP Infusion Product Family
Major Version: New customer-facing functionality that represents a significant change to the code base; in other words, a significant marketing change or direction in the product.
Maintenance Version: Enhancements to existing features to address external or internal requirements to satisfy the needs of new sales regions or to support marketing initiatives. Product fixes that are released every 30 or 60 days, based on the number of issues being addressed.
