ISIS OpenConfig Translation
General Restrictions
Operation create
• NETCONF’s operation="create" is only supported at objectlist elements, e.g. /network-instances/network-instance/protocols/protocol/isis/interfaces/interface[interface-id]. Payloads with this operation on other elements might have undefined behavior.
Deletion of AFI-SAFI
By default AF-IPv4 is always present on IS-IS global configuration and cannot be deleted. Deletion of this entry affects only its children configuration, if any. No error message is expected otherwise.
When deleting /oc-netinst:network-instances/network-instance/protocols/protocol/isis/global/afi-safi or /oc-netinst:network-instances/network-instance/protocols/protocol/isis/global/afi-safi/af, what will happen:
• The operation=”delete” will be placed at the supported attribute’s nodes.
• If AF-IPv6 is configured, it will remove the entire element from af object-list.

Restrictions
• There’s a deviation to make oc-netinst:isis/interfaces/interface/afi-safi/af mandatory when an oc-netinst:isis/interfaces/interface is being configured;
• On OcNOS, IS-IS interface-related configuration can be applied even if the IS-IS instance is not yet created. In case this happens, edit operations using OpenConfig namespace won’t work, and GET operation won’t retrieve those interfaces.
