MAC Limit support for EVPN-MPLS enables control over the number of MAC addresses learned per Attachment Circuit (AC) and Ethernet Virtual Instance (EVI). This feature helps prevent MAC table overflows and enhances network security in EVPN deployments by restricting excessive MAC learning. It is especially beneficial in CE-to-PE environments using MPLS underlay.
