max-steps-removed
Use this command to specify the maximum number of communication paths between the local clock and the grandmaster clock.
Use the no form of this command to set default value 255.
Command Syntax
max-steps-removed <1-255>
no max-steps-removed
Parameters
<1-255>
Number of communication links between the local clock and the grandmaster clock.

Applicability
This command was introduced in OcNOS version 3.0.
Example
(config)#ptp clock 0 profile g8275.1
(config-ptp-clk)#max-steps-removed 10
